The project entails the establishment of a non-profit body which aims to regulate the professional occupational training industry within the SADC region. The project will be completed when there is sufficient strategy, policy and membership to ensure the institutions continual existence.

 

Swaziland Economic Policy Analysis Research Centre (SEPARC)

This was a high level strategy development engagement which resulted in the finalization of a strategic document for the period of 2016 to 2018 for SEPARC. The strategy development consultation project consist of four phases, namely, conducting research into the organisational purpose and functioning (strategy audit), obtaining buy-in from all selected participants, running the strategy development workshop and delivering a well formulated  and measurable strategy document to the client organisation.

The project entailed the establishment of an e-learning programme in Business Writing Skills and Consultancy Skills. This was primarily developing materials and a video library for the Ibadan Business School so that learners could have 24-hour access to their lecturers.

 

Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA)

Tile & Carpet Company - Nairobi

The project included the establishment of a performance frame and mapping of core business processes with the aim of enhancing human performance with in Tile & Carpet – Nairobi. During the project a new performance frame was established and many old HR practices was reconstructed and abolished.

 

Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA)

The project included the revision and critical investigation of the current UNRA Strategy with the aim of improving, refining and presenting a new five-year strategy. Part of the project also included the establishment of a performance frame and the process mapping of UNRA core business activities. The strategy development consultation project consist of four phases, namely, conducting research into the organisational purpose and functioning (strategy audit), obtaining buy-in from all selected participants, running the strategy development workshop and delivering a well formulated  and measurable strategy document to the client organisation.

South African National Blood Service (SANBS)

The project involved the implementation of an approved SANBS CRM Strategy. It is a comprehensive project that will take more than 18-months to complete. Some areas included here are the development of specs for a revised SANBS interactive web-site, automation of all CRM practices within SANBS and linking of such automation to a centralised database, development of CRM models for the various SANBS departments, development of training and mentorship programmes for all frontline SANBS staff, and development of CRM measurement tools.

Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF)

Development of a National Organisational Strategy with Departmental Scorecards for the UIF. The project is aimed to align UIF strategy with objectives of the National Department of Labour. It has a wide scope and includes recommendations for policy adjustments and performance management systems within UIF. All UIF offices are involved in the project and final approval of the UIF strategy will be done by the Minister of Labour. The strategy development consultation project consist of four phases, namely, conducting research into the organisational purpose and functioning (strategy audit), obtaining buy-in from all selected participants, running the strategy development workshop and delivering a well formulated  and measurable strategy document to the client organisation.

Training of all research staff in a customised programme of developing and understanding an organisational performance management system. The programme had the aim of understanding organisational and individual performance on advanced level in order to enable participants to adjust and redefine their current performance management system. The programme was run throughout South Africa at their various offices.

Diversity Capacity Empowerment Programme. The project included the training of 12 trainers as Diversity Facilitators. The trainers were trained in Diversity Management, Diversity Awareness, and Advanced Facilitation Skills. The purpose was to capacitate them to do Diversity Training on their own throughout the province of Gauteng.

Internalisation of corporate value system. This was a comprehensive project aimed at internalising the SAICA Corporate Value System. It included 16 workshops with the 100 SAICA employees, the development of a performance appraisal system that would incorporate the corporate values, the adjustment of their recruitment policy, the establishment of a values champion team that would drive the project, the development of a Intranet based system where the application of corporate values of each employee would be evaluated on a quarterly basis, as well as the sensitising of external members of the SAICA values. The project duration was two-years.

This project was the first phase of a Values Rollout project and was aimed at understanding what the organisational stumbling blocks and opportunities would be when internalising an organisational value system. Questionnaires, focus groups, individual interviews, and physical audit techniques were used.

Diversity Capacity Empowerment Programme. The project included the training of 14 trainers and the designing of training material for GSSC. The trainers were trained in Diversity Management, Diversity Awareness, and Advanced Facilitation Skills. The purpose was to capacitate them to do Diversity Training on their own throughout the province of Gauteng. A Diversity Awareness Workbook and Facilitators Guide was also developed and licensed to GSSC.
